It depends on the channel. Bulk SMS can go live in 1–3 working days once DLT registration is done. WhatsApp API is usually live within 24 hours if MSME, GST and FB Business Portfolio access are ready. RCS and Email take 7–14 working days for brand agent registration and domain warming respectively.
DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) is TRAI's mandatory system for registering businesses, sender IDs and SMS templates in India. It is required for Bulk SMS and Bulk Voice. Textspeed guides you through the registration on platforms like Airtel, Jio, Vi or BSNL DLT — it takes 1–3 working days.
Yes. Meta uses the MSME (Udyam) certificate to verify your FB Business Portfolio and grant access to the WhatsApp Business API. Without a verified business portfolio, your account cannot progress to higher message tiers.
For Bulk SMS and Voice, GST is optional. For WhatsApp API, GST is mandatory along with MSME and an active website. For Email and RCS, GST may be needed as one of the KYC documents.
RCS requires a domain email ID, a live website with Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions and a Contact/Opt-in page, and any 2 of 6 KYC documents: PAN, GST, Incorporation Certificate, MSME, Rental Agreement or Bank Statement. At least one document must contain your business address.
